We know that this is a worrying and uncertain time for everyone. Porters Place Southend-on-Sea LLP wanted to reassure you that the safety and wellbeing of our staff and contractors and of the residents of Queensway is our priority. We have been working very hard to create the right responses to what is clearly a fast-moving situation and we have followed government advice on this issue to date and will continue to do so.
In line with Government advice, we are continuing to work on the regeneration of the Queensway estate from home using technology to ensure the progress of the project continues. Porters Place Southend-on-Sea LLP would like to reassure you that the Better Queensway project is still on track and as scheduled, we are still currently intending to submit our planning application in the summer.
Our Community Activation Officer, James Colwell will soon be in touch with those residents who have expressed an interest in joining the Steering Group to discuss how we can continue to work together through this period. If you would like to join the Steering Group, please email [email protected]
In the meanwhile, we are proactively working behind the scenes on the project with the support of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council. The project team are continuing to work with our architects, highways and transport consultants, engineering experts and our town planning consultants, to ensure we can bring you a Better Queensway.
As part of Porters Place Southend-on-Sea LLP, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, Swan Housing Association together with South Essex Homes who continue to manage the Queensway Estate on behalf of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, send you our continued support and look forward to meeting you again very soon.
