Swan Housing Association Limited and Southend on Sea Borough Council (the “Joint Data Controllers”), are responsible for the collection, processing, storage and safe keeping of any information you provide on this website and the information you provide will be managed in accordance with relevant legislation (e.g. GDPR).

What information do we collect about you?
As part of this consultation, we will collect your name, address, contact details and views.

How will we use the information about you?
For the purposes of this consultation, the personal information we collect and process will enable us to facilitate the submission of a planning application for the regeneration of the Queensway Area.

We will also use your personal data to keep you updated about the regeneration if you have provided your consent.

We will only keep your information until the implementation of this planning permission unless you have requested regeneration updates.

Who we may share your information with?
Information will be shared by Swan Housing Association and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council as joint partners in this project and with their appointed consultants for the purpose of collating responses.

We will not sell your information to any third parties.

Access to your personal information and correction
Access to your personal information

You have the right to request access to the personal information we may hold about you. If we do hold information about you, we will:-

  • Tell you why we are holding it;
  • Tell you who it could be disclosed to; and
